Barcelona-based creative team Carlitos y Patricia recently approached BaseMotion with a mysterious mission: Create a 10-second spot and incorporate the spoken phrase (translated from Spanish), “Come to the place where bartering rules. Long live the exchange; long live the exchangers!” Additionally BaseMotion was told that the piece would be one of four ultimately assembled into a single 40-second spot according to the Surrealist game/process of collective creation, cadavre exquis. BozarSHOP Movies Twice Nominated

BozarShop, the more-than-a-museum-store at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, opened just before the holidays in 2007. To publicize the opening, BaseMotion made a series of 12 short online movies for the Bozar website. All echo the wacky tone we struck for the identity of BozarShop.

The series was nominated for an award by D&AD, the London-based nonprofit “educational charity that represents the global creative, design and advertising communities,” in the category New Branding Schemes: Small Business. The movies have also been nominated for the 2008 LAUS awards.
