BozarSHOP movies, from BaseMotion on Vimeo

BozarShop, the more-than-a-museum-store at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, opened just before the holidays in 2007. To publicize the opening, BaseMotion made a series of 12 short online movies for the Bozar website. All echo the wacky tone we struck for the identity of BozarShop.

The series was nominated for an award by D&AD, the London-based nonprofit “educational charity that represents the global creative, design and advertising communities,” in the category New Branding Schemes: Small Business. The movies have also been nominated for the 2008 LAUS awards.

The Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum recently nominated Base in New York for its National Design Award for Communications Design. … more
