Graanmarkt 13, a new and unique retail store in Antwerp, opened Saturday. Located in a residential building and neighborhood on the city’s tree-lined market square, Graanmarkt 13 is a store conceived as a home. In fact, it is a home. Proprietors Ilse Cornelissens and Tim Van Geloven live on the top floor of this stately, renovated row house. Hotel Missoni opened its doors on June 8 in Edinburgh. The first of a new family of luxury hotels, Hotel Missoni brings together the immediately recognizable visual world of Missoni with the hospitality experience of The Rezidor Hotel Group.

This team brought on Base to design the Hotel Missoni identity. We collaborated with Missoni’s Home Design department, and integrated the brand’s signature patterns and colors into a hotel personality that is subdued enough not to compete with Missoni’s bold visual world.
